Workers for Kids -

Workers for Kids

Introduction to employees and independent contractors.

Course Description

The "Workers for Kids" course introduces children to workers and why they are important in entrepreneurship.

There are quizzes and activities throughout the course along with a master exam at the end.

Children must pass the master exam with at least a 70% to complete the course.

Every course follows a story

Children will follow the story of Christopher who lives in Orange County, CA. He was lucky enough to get a scholarship to the university due to his good grades in high school. His classmates are always asking him for help inside and outside the classroom. Realizing the demand for help, Christopher starts a tutoring business, South Coast Tutors, and charges students for his service. Eventually, word spreads around class about South Coast Tutors without any marketing. More students are requesting his service and it is becoming overwhelming. He no longer has enough time to study for his other classes and his grades are beginning to take a toll. Christopher doesn’t want to stop tutoring. However, he realizes if he continues to tutor more students, his grades will suffer and he might lose his scholarship.

Christopher needs to find workers!
